Both gender specific programs serves as an advocate for young men and women by providing a safe haven to participate in structured activities that will help them build self-esteem, improve academic achievement, and implement good health practices. Participants achieve these goals and master core values through their participation in a weekly two-hour learning session and conversation. They are encouraged to discuss any issues and challenges that they may be facing. The aim is to break/reduce bad habits such as, juvenile delinquency, drug abuse, teen pregnancy, truancy, other problems and high-risk behaviors while instilling life skills.
